The Grand Hyatt Melbourne

At the 2018 Northern Health Research dinner, we are raising funds to provide student scholarships at Northern Health. We are committed to meeting the future needs of our community, so far we have raised half a million dollars to invest in PHD Scholarships at Northern Health, funding over 30 research initiatives in the past 12 months. With your support, we can continue to translate research into practice, enhance patient safety and create positive outcomes tailored for the northern community.

Northern Health is committed to fostering an innovative, enthusiastic and collaborative culture of medical research. Our research is built upon innovative service delivery underpinned by excellence in education, and we are creating a collaborative culture of health research that is based on the growing need for innovative and progressive health care.

In order to encourage some of Australia’s best minds to examine medicine’s most pressing health challenges, we invite partners to donate to Northern Health’s scholarship offerings in 2018. By supporting a scholarship at Northern Health you have a unique opportunity to help a post graduate student complete ground breaking medical research which could cast a stone to create the ripple effect to potentially change the world.

The evening will be hosted by Marianne Van Dorslar with our guest speaker Dr Norman Swan, host of The Health Report on ABC’s Radio National and a performance by the fabulous Rhonda Burchmore.
