Fundraise for us through community or workplace events
Making Northern Health Foundation your charity of choice for your community or business event is just one way to show your support for your local health service.
If you are thinking of hosting your own event on behalf of Northern Health Foundation, and raise funds for life-changing equipment, please read the information below.
Tools and Support Available from Northern Health Foundation
As a charitable foundation supporting Northern Health our resources are limited but there are still many ways we can offer support for your event. Whilst we cannot help you with the planning and execution of your event beyond giving advice, we can help you with:
- providing you or your committee with a “Letter of Authority” which shows that your event or fundraising activity is genuine and you have approval from Northern Health Foundation.
- fundraising materials including donation forms, banners, posters and collection tins
- provide you with print quality logos and images for you to use on any printed materials. Please remember Northern Health Foundation will need to approve any use of our logo on your print materials or creative before distribution.
- If appropriate for your event, you could use Northern Health Foundation’s Just Giving page to manage donations – we are also able to assist you to set up your page. Learn more about Just Giving click here.
Can I use Northern Health Foundation as my Event Name?
For third-party events and activities, Northern Health Foundation has a naming convention for special events that is critical to adhere to and is outlined as follows:

Can I obtain Tax Deductible Receipts for my Donations?
If you donors and supporters would like tax deductible receipts we can provide these, however, you will need to make a record of the donation including name, address and amount donated. We can help you with a process around collecting this information.
